Everyone has higher ambitions, aspirations and hopes and everyone also faces obstacles and disappointments. When faced with problems many turn to God and offer prayers and Poojas. Poojas performed on certain auspicious days like Maha Shivaratri, Durga Pooja etc. are highly effective and yield desired results.
But do we have to wait till Shivaratri etc? Not necessary. To help mankind make desired progress the scriptures and the saints have prescribed three Poojas which yield great benefits in this world and the other world too. They are as follows;
1.November 8, 2019, Friday, Devautthana Ekadashi.
Lord Brahma said to Narada Muni, “Dear son, O best of the sages, I shall narrate to you the glories of Haribodhini Ekadasi, which eradicates all kinds of sins and bestows great merit, and ultimately liberation, upon the wise persons who surrender unto the Supreme Lord.
“O best of the brahmanas, the merits acquired by bathing in the Ganges remain significant only as long as Haribodhini Ekadasi does not come. This Ekadasi, which occurs during the light fortnight of the month of Kartika, is much more purifying than a bath in the ocean, at a place of pilgrimage, or in a lake.
This sacred Ekadasi is more powerful in nullifying sin than one thousand Asvamedha sacrifices and one hundred Rajasuya sacrifices.”
We will be performing the Purusha Sookta Homam of Lord Vishnu on this day.

3. November 12th, 2019 is the Holy Kartika Purnima – which is also the day of Matsya Avatara, Vamana Avatara and the Avatara of Dattatreya who gave us the Sriyantra Pooja. We will be performing the famous Sriyantra Navavarana Pooja of Devi on this auspicious day. According to all scriptures the Sriyantra Pooja is one which gives “iham and param” – benefits in this world and also in the next world.
