Pancha Maha Bhuta temples are five temples dedicated to Shiva. Each place represents a manifestation of Lord Shiva as one of the five main elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Pancha means five and Bhuta elements. The world is comprised of these 5 elements and even the human body is also comprised of these five.
