Comments :
- In the first sloka of this chapter it has been clearly indicated that the trimshamsa chart is studied to predict the ARISHTAS or Calamaties. The trimshamsa chart is important in analyzing the source of the calamity. Maharishi Parashara has given a very important and vital clue to judge the source or cause “of this calamity, through trimshamsa chart.
- The word (Agni) means the fire. The Vanhi is the lord of 1st trimshamsa in the odd signs and 5th trims hams a in the even signs. The lord of 1st trimshamsa in odd signs and 5th in even signs is Mars, which is a firy planet and signifies wounds, violence, burning, fever, red leprosy, serious surgical operations, high blood pressure, abortions, evil spirits etc. Obviously if there is Vanhi Trimshamsa the native has fears from fires, fire arms, electric shocks and similar hazards. May also suffer Pitta (Bilious) diseases.
- The word Sameer (Vayu) means the wind. The Sameer is the lord of the 2nd trimshamsa in odd signs and the 4th trimshamsa in the even signs. These trimshamsasare again owned by a malefic planet Saturn. Saturn is also a Vata planet and signifies fainting, paralysis of legs, chronic diseases, hysteria, insanity, cancers, injuries from falling, thieves etc. In case of Sameer Trimshamsa the native has fears of losses from strong winds, avalanches, tornedos. May also suffer from Vata (windy) diseases such as rheumatism, body pains etc.
- The word Shakra (Indra) means the king and also a vegetable poison. The Shakra is the lord of the 3rd trimshamsa of odd and as well of even signs. The third trimshamsa of odd and even signs is owned by Jupiter. Jupiter is a natural benefic planet. Jupiter signifies leprosy, anaemia, obesity, jaundice, trouble from temples, harm from the curses of Brahmins, offence against noble persons, ministers, judiciary or the decision making body. Jupiter signifies the highest apostle of Justice. Shakra, as explained earlier is the king or the ruler. So in’ case of Shakra Trimshamsa the troubles of misfortunes may be from the rulers, the jury or from the courts, curses of the noble persons, litigations etc. Since Shakra is also the name of a vegetable poison, the native may also suffer typical allergies from flowers, herbs or poisonous vegetables.
- The word Dhanad (Kuber) means the rich person and represents deformity in the. body. The Dhanad is the lord of the 4th trimshamsa in odd and 2nd in the even signs. This part of trimshamsa is owned by Mercury. Mercury signifies relatives, maternal uncle, his children and his wife, cousins, step mother, skin diseases, evil spirits, loss of memory, insanity, nervous breakdown, treasury, etc. In Dhanad Trimshamsa the sources of misfortunes can be rich persons, trade, business losses, treasury, financial losses, punishment on account of financial irregularities etc.
- The word Jalad (Varun) means the cloud. The Varuna is the regent of the ocean. The Jalad is the lord of 5th trimshamsa in odd and 1st trimshamsa in even signs. The lord of these parts of trimshamsas is Venus. Venus signifies wife, genital system, disease of the generative system, Vata and Kapha diseases (windy and phlegmatic), kidney stones, fear from witches and female ghosts etc. In the Jalad Trimshamsa the troubles may come from water, rains, cloud burst, floods, typhoons, Vata and Kapha diseases, sexually transmitted diseases and fair sex.
