Sun in the Navamsha if Saturn.
If the Sun is in Saturn’s navamsha (Capricorn or Aquarius) the native suffers defeats; is poor, weak, lecherous, unfortunate, sickly; gets separated from loved ones.
Important
If an exalted Sun gets debilitated in navamsha, even the son of a king becomes a pauper.
A strong Sun in the navamsha makes the native beautiful, wealthy and prosperous (blessed with gems and jewels), happy, composed, healthy and gentle.
A weak Sun in the navamsha causes separation from loved ones; fear from poison, fire, arms (injuries), fever and Pitta; gives many daughters and makes the native ill-behaved.
Comments :
- Even if the Sun is exalted in the natal chart, in case it goes into debilitation in navamsha chart, the native does not prosper despite being born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
- If the Sun gets exalted or becomes vargottama (occupies the same sign in navamsha in which it is posited in the natal chart), then the native earns merits and enjoys luxuries and wealth.
- If the Sun goes into debilitation or in an inimical sign in the navamsha, then the native suffers loss of a dear person and has fear from poison, fire, injuries, fevers and pitta. He can even be wrongly diagnosed and treated has many daughters.
- Apparently in the navamsha of benefic planets e.g. the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter, the Sun gives positive qualities and in the navamsha of malefic planets Saturn, Mars and including its own navamsha the Sun gives negative results.
- Here one important point is that the exaltation sign for the Sun is Aries, which is owned by a malefic planet Mars. The classical definition is that if the Sun gets exalted in navamsha then it gives very positive results but on the other hand Shastras also say that if the Sun is posited in the navamsha of Mars, it gives all the negative qualities. Now here is a big dilemma. Which statement is to be believed? The answer is simple – the exaltation sign for any planet, even if owned by a malefic planet, is always benefic and positive for that planet. In the following chapters also we have to keep this important rule in mind.
