How to Interpret through Vargas or Divisional Charts
All the divisional charts should be interpreted and studied independently as well along with the natal chart, while analysing a particular bhava.
All the interpretations of the divisional charts are equally applicable for both the sexes.
If the lagna or the ascendant is under benefic influence in most of the divisional charts, the native would be prosperous and long lived. If under malefic influence, he would be wicked, pitiable and short lived.
If the navamsha lagna lord in the natal and navamsha chart, is strong, the native would achieve distinctions. If the drekkana lagna lord in natal chart and drekkana chart, is strong, the native would be like a king. If the lagna lord in natal chart, is strong, the native would be affluent and happy.
If only one planet is either exalted or posited in a kendra (1, 4, 7, 10) or trikona (1, 5, 9) or in its own or friendly sign and is unafflicted in all divisional charts then its effects would be very beneficial for the native.
If just one planet is unafflicted it makes the native very rich, powerful and gives many conveyances. And if there are two or more planets in this state, then the native would be like a Kinnar or Devaraja Indra.
Comments:
In present times the word ‘kinnar’ may be interpreted as a very famous and prosperous person. ‘Devaraja lndra’ is the king of the heavens as per the holy scriptures. He is very handsome, rich, powerful and luxurious.
Before giving any prediction it should be carefully studied that whether the planet is benefic or malefic, if it is posited in a friendly or inimical, exalted or debilitated, benefic or malefic or its own sign. Malefic planets become harmless in benefic houses in divisional charts and benefic planets become more benefic in such position. Benefic planets loose their beneficence in malefic houses in divisional charts and malefic planets become more malefic if they go to malefic houses in divisional charts.
If a planet is exalted or posited in its own sign or in its mooltrikona sign (Leo for Sun, Cancer for Moon, Aries for Mars, Virgo for Mercury, Sagittarius for Jupiter, Libra for Venus and Aquarius for Saturn are mooltrikona signs), in most of the divisional charts, it would give maximum benefic results. In a friendly sign also the results would be benefic but not as benefic as in the earlier case.
Planets occupying malefic or inimical houses in divisional charts give bad results during their major or sub or sub-sub periods. Planets occupying benefic or friendly houses in divisional charts give auspicious results during their periods.
Malefic planets occupying malefic or inimical house in divisional charts become maraka or death inflicting during their dasha. Benefic planets occupying benefic or friendly house give best results during their dasha.
Planets occupying the sign of navamsha lord or posited with it or in the friendly sign of navamsha lord give benefic results in their dasha. Even if these planets are malefic, they would not give adverse results.
