General Principles of Interpreting Drekkana
If drekkana lagna lord is either exalted or posited in a kendra then the native takes birth in a king’s house; in a commander’s house, if posited in its own sign; and in the house of a learned person if posited in a friendly sign.
If drekkana lord is either exalted or posited in a friendly house or posited/aspected with benefics then it gives very auspicious resuits; if above conditions are opposite then the results are malefic.
If drekkana lord is posited either in a debilitated or inimical sign or with some malefics, then the native suffers death or serious injury in the months or years similar to the sign number in which it is posited or the number of malefic planets with whom it is posited.
Comments :
- If the drekkana lagna lord is in a kendra (1, 4, 7, 10) or exalted either in the drekkana chart or in the natal chart, the native belongs to a royal (rich and prosperous) family.
- If the drekkana lagna lord is in its own sign in drekkana and as well natal chart the native belongs to a martial family, which means that his/her father may be a highly positioned army officer or in a very high position in police or defense services.
- If the drekkana lagna lord is in a friendly sign in drekkana and as well in the natal chart, the native belongs to a highly educated and learned family.
- Bala-Arishta : If the drekkana lord is posited either in a debilitated or inimical sign or in 6th, 8th or 12th house in the natal chart with some malefics, then the native suffers death or serious injury in the months or years similar to the sign number in which it is posited or the number of malefic planets with whom it is posited. For example Mars as drekkana lord is posited in the 8th house in the natal chart with three malefic.s in Gemini (for Scorpio ascendant); here the Gemini is the 3rd sign-hence the sign number is 3. In the natal chart the drekkana lord is with 3 malefics in the sign number 3 (Gemini), the native may suffer serious injury or death in first three months or three years of birth. Any benefic aspect on the lagna or on the lagna lord certainly helps in such case.
The sign occupied by the drekkana lord decides the number of siblings; if the drekkana lord is posited/aspected by benefics the siblings live long; but siblings may suffer if the drekkana lord is under malefic influences. The relationship between the lagna lord and the drekkana lord decides native’s relations with his/her siblings.
