Mahatma Gandhi’s horoscope.
Please note for dasa I use the 360 days Savana year. About 5000 years ago when Parasara gave the dasa periods there was no Georgian calendar of today.
In the horoscope of Mahatma Gandhi lagna lord Venus is well placed in lagna and in navamsa also he is in its own house. The bhagydhipati 9th lord Mercury joins Venus in lagna and also the 2nd and 7th lord Mars. The conjunction of these three auspicious house lords in lagna is a powerful rajayoga for lasting name and fame. Lagna and these three planets are also aspected by auspicious Jupiter. Tula lagna people are lovers of peace and justice.
The yogakaraka for Tula lagna Saturn is well placed in the 2nd house and becomes very powerful by being in own house in navamsa and dasamsa charts.
Malefic planets on both sides of lagna, known as papakaritri yoga is a combination for imprisonment.
Badly placed Rahu in his 10th house of profession gave him troubles through foreigners.
4 September 1888, he sailed from Bombay to London to study law. Tula lagna and Jupiter are connected with law.
June 1891 completed law and then left London and returned to India. This was Rahu antardasa and Rahu is connected with foreign countries.
In April 1893, Gandhi aged 23, went to South Africa to be the lawyer for a businessman. He spent 21 years in South Africa, where he developed his political views, ethics and politics. Moon the 10th lord is in its own house bur Rahu there is a major affliction and he constantly had problems and as Rahu rules foreigners his troubles were through foreigners.
At the request of Gopal Krishna Gokhale, conveyed to him by C. F. Andrews, Gandhi returned to India in 9.1.1915. This was in Jupiter antardasa and Jupiter is aspecting lagna which is connected with birth country.
Gandhi took leadership of the Congress in 1920. This was in Mars-Venus both are rajayoga karakas.
Gandhi was arrested and jailed on many occasions. The lagna hemmed between malefis causes imprisonment – karagara yoga.
On 30 January 1948, Gandhi was assassinated. This was Venus antardasa and Venus is with maraka 2nd lord Mars.
