The “left heel” (ankle) of Mata Sati fell in the Vibhash Shakti Peeth. Here Mata Sati is known as ‘Kapalini’ (Bhimarupa) and Lord Shiva as ‘Sharwanand.’ The temple is also known as “Bheemakali Temple.” So it is also called Bargabhima Devi.

There is a massive idol of “Shiv Linga” situated at the Sanctorum of the temple. The black stone “Shiva Linga” with white marble boundary is worshiped by the devotees, pilgrims, & priests, and Yajna are performed accordingly.

By Road: Tamluk is well connected to different cities via road as it is a junction. Six bus routes originate from Tamluk from various towns.
By Rail: Direct trains are also available from Howrah to Tamluk. Tamluk Junction railway station is located at Tamluk station Road, Tamluk, West Bengal. You can hire public transport to the temple from the railway station.
By Airway: Nearest Airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Calcutta, which facilitates national and international flights.
