Ganesh
Shri S Ganesh is one
of the most revered and respected names in Vedic Astrology.
Practising this science for more than 25 years now, Shri S Ganesh is
also teaching Jyotish at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan since 1994.
Background
Brought up in a traditional South Indian Hindu family, his father
Sri Sankara Narayanan was secretary of Madrasi Vedic Brahmin
Association. He has spiritual roots traced to revered Sringeri Mutt
and His holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Shanakaracharya is his guru.
Tradition And Modernity
Working in a co-operative sector in Delhi, he has a unique blend of
tradition and modernity. Suave, gentle, compassionate and adept in
all aspects of Jyotish , he has taught thousands of students over
the years to carry the light of traditional vidya far and wide.
Pioneering Work In Vedic Jyotish
He is to be credited with bringing out many hitherto traditional
aspects of Jyotish in the open, and he has preserved the tradition
that the world renowned astrologer Sh K N Rao cajoled him into
teaching at the Bhawan. He is presently writing a book on Bhava
Analysis and has got several highly acclaimed papers to his credit.
