Hindu Fasts & Festivals

By Paramahamsa Swami Sivananda

Ekadasa Rudrabhisheka Homam on Guru Poornima 7th July. Book your Archana

We celebrate the festivals and enjoy the holidays but not many know the significance of the festival and fewer still know how to celebrate it and the rituals involved. There are too many folklore tales and books giving contradictory and inaccurate information. What I am putting in the following pages is from the book written by Paramahamsa Swamy Sivananda - one of the greatest yogis India has produced. Nothing can be better than the guidance given by a great God-realised Paramahamsa like him. The book is published by the Devine Life Society Hrishikesh.
