Ekadashi / Ekadasi dates in 2023
Traditional minded Hindus observe fasting on Ekadasi day – on the 11th Tithi (Lunar phase) in the Hindu calendar. There are two Ekadasis in a month, one during Shukla Paksha and another during Krishna Paksha. So it is 12 months x 2 = 24, plus 2 on the adhika masa. The devotees of Lord Vishnu consider Ekadashi a very auspicious to observe fast, do His Pooja and seek HIS blessings.
